Hostgator server is DOWN??

OMG I thought HOSTGATOR server is good and almost 0% Downtime but In my case I am only 1month+ but I already have downtime....

Are you saying that your shared hosting is not GOOD??

UPDATE: it is now up... but it was down for 15 minutes..... Is that Normal?

 

In my experience Hostgator shared servers have a high uptime ratio.

I think in about a years time my sites hosted there were down only one time for about 45 seconds is all.

They are probably one of the better places for sure as far as shared server hosts go. Maybe they were working on that server or had someone on there doing something that used up all the resources. They are quick to correct their servers and keep users in line for a shared environment so to keep servers running good.

Hopefully your sites will now run good with very little or no down time for a long time.

I have two shared accounts with hostgator. They're better than the other 3 hosts I've used.

 

Yeah.. They fixed problem immediately.. and Support is Excellent

 

That's exactly why I stick with them.

 

None of them have 100% uptime. Instead of freaking out, just chill next time. The servers are bound to be down for a while every now and then.

Ya, don't worry about it. I've used them quite a few times before, and uptime is quite high.

 

Yeah 15 minutes of downtime really isn't bad for a shared host once in a while. 99.9% up time right

 

Its bad for hostgators as it serves over millions of customers buddy

 

Downtime of 15 minutes is not a big deal...I am quiet happy with hostgator so far...
