Sharing my experience with your guys as a warning. Earlier i had a small shared acc on hostgator, then i chatted and mailed them and asked it the could handle all my 150 sites on a reseller, they already hosted same type of sites, they told no problems. The problems started right away, reseller acc have good spec so you shoul think no problems, becouse you have bw and disc, but they will get you on load if you have some traffic. Thats how the fool us with a spec of bw you would not be able to use.. Anyway back to the scam, they suggested upgrade to vps level 5, so i ordered, level 6 to be shure. Disc full already before they finish, so they sold me a dedicated. Do you think they refunded me for the reseller like they say on their website? NO Do you think i had to pay for the vps that was nor possible to use: YES When it comes to my Dedicated, i ordered and payed, for their highest spec server, but they delivered a much low spec server, so this was going full disc also. I complained, with no understanding, and hardly any replieis, until one day a admin there understood i got wrong spec server..Iopened a dispute, then i got warning that i had to pay the amout on dispute or they close all down. Waste of time and money, and they dont care to fix it up. Will i do business with hostgator again? NEWER....my dedicated will be replaced asap Any other had bad experience with this big bad hosting company?
I would like to see if this problem is an issue with multiple users at Hosting Gator. Are you going to be able to get any type of refund? Are you going to move to another provider? Most companies will have a client that has a bad experience but it is when the same thing happens to many clients that my bells start ringing. I have heard some chatter about Gator lately so I will be back to see how this thread grows.
