are you interested in hosting or reseller account? if you are looking for hosting accounts, i there are lot better option than hostgator. i personaly think hostgator is for newbies. if you are looking for advanced hosting package, then look for other hosts. i myself stay away from them due to previous bad experience.

ixwebhosting.com offers great webhosting, great features, at the lowest price possible, and their reseller is excellent. I really recommend them. And if you want to test the waters first, try their affiliate program to see if it generates interest.

In my experience the hostgator package is good for reselling, however their helpdesk isn't the fastest in the world.

There is some website that has a list of the top ten based on price/features/and costumer reviews, and they were at the top... could be promotion though. I've heard good things about them.

I use hostgator shared hosting but never try their reseller. From my experience (shared hosting) Its been great. Sometimes i have a few problem but it was not long before they resolved it. Good hoster.
