Guys I am going to buy a new host...There are two in the list...

    HOSTGATOR - $7.99/month[ 600Gb, 6000Gb BW, UL Domains]
    GODADDY - $6.99/month[150Gb, 1500Gb, UL Domains]

Which one would u recommend...I dont know much about the performances of these hosts...But read that GODADDY has a worst customer care...HOSTGATOR is given very good feedbacks everywhere...I am looking for Linux hosting...GODADDY has joomla and wordpress preinstalled...I dont know if HOSTGATOR has them preinstalled...I want them...Is it that hard to install them...??? Please help me out guys...Recommend me one...I am thinking of HOSTGATOR....:)

Between those two I recommend that you do not go with go daddy. I have stayed away from them for years and haven't gone back. As far as the joomla and wordpress installations you can do easy (few click) installs from the host's cpanel under the section called fantastico.

Can't vouch for hostgator, but Godaddy sucks for hosting.

I am not a huge fan of either but would go with Host gator before Go Daddy. Also make sure that you do not host the same place that you have your domains registered. You would be just asking for problems if they decide to suspend your account. Also be sure to read all the hidden terms for both because they are both notorious for suspending accounts.

I have been using HostGator since February. I tested support at several other hosts before I picked them. Telephone support varied from instant pickup to a 5 minute wait and friendly. Online chat was about the same. So far, my sites have never been down and I have had no other issues with them. Just last week I switched from month/month to annual payments to save a few bucks but also because I feel they've proved themselves reliable.

We are using HostMonster.com. We just switched to them a couple of months ago and have had no problems so far.

We used to be with Wiredhub, but the service kept going down and customer support was terrible.

We debated between HostGator and HostMonster, but in the end went with HostMonster. I think they were a little cheaper at the time, and we paid for the whole year up front to get the cheapest rate.
