I would recommend HostGator as all of my sites are with them and I'm a satisfied customer. You can take a look on what others say about HG at WebHostingReview.org.

If it is between BlueHost and HostGator, you can’t make a bad choice. Both companies are well known and reputable companies that offer pretty much the same service for similar prices. Their customer service is consistent, effective, and easily available.

If it were my web site and my money, I think I’d go with HostGator. The company has always impressed me with their very straight forward, no hype attitude. I like that they offer more choices when it comes to plans and payment terms and I appreciate that flexibility.

    Anyway, the choice is yours…

I was with CanadaWeb Hosting until they sold out their reseller plan. I've been with HostGator and have had no problems..

Hostgator has been good to me for many years. I started with a reseller account and used it just for my own sites. I eventually had to move to a dedicated server because my traffic grew too much. I now have two dedicated servers with them. They have great support and live chat 24 hours a day. I have never had a problem with them.

We have been a long time user of Hostgator, I know who they use to manage their servers and they take very good care of customers. (In my opinion)

I never been hosted with Hostgator, but I did read some good things about them. However, I had been hosted with bluehost for over 7 years and They are one amazing host.

Sadly they do not support VPS or Dedicated servers and I was forced to move on. Bluehost is by far the best shared hosting I had ever been with and in the past I had tried over 20 others.

Bluehost is the way to go!

Both are pretty good hosting companies, going with either one will probably be okay.
