hostgator... manual or automatic payments?

I signed up with my host who is hostgator on the baby plan for monthly payments- do i have to manually make payments each month or is it automatic and re-occuring?

Dont want my hosting to shut down on me one day because i didnt pay....thanks

 

Generally, payments are automatically processed.

 

If you're on subscription. If you're not, they would mail you about the overdue, though.

 

it works both ways depending on how you have set it up - it could either be recurring payments (by paypal subscriptions) or you can do it manually each month or still better you can prepay for a full year and relax
