I see a lot of controversy if HostGator Affiliate Hosting pays out. Does anyone know the truth? Did anyone here get paid out by them? Thanks Marc
We pay out over $130,000 a month not counting cj payouts which I believe is another $40-50k. We are the largest host that I know of that has such high payouts on month to month plans, and even allows a coupon to be used. Because of this I'm willing to be we get more people trying to defraud us then anybody which results in a lot of the controversy. If you signup with us in house you will see every domain name that you sent us. With this it's easy to see if we cheat you or not because all you need to do is look up the dns to see if they are hosted with us or not if we remove them for non payment after a month. Another major problem we've had is an ebook was written for the free hosting companies on how to make money off of our affiliate system. The majority of these free hosting companies sending 95%+ fraud to our hosting. Their referrals use stolen credit cards, paypal accounts, etc. So when we don't pay them their millions of dollars they think they're getting they tend to be very load about it claiming we cheated them. We respond showing name servers, and how the sites don't even load, but all most of them care about is trying to get a free ride. We have one affiliate that makes about $40,000 a month.
