If you are from Cox Oklahoma City - The LA servers or New York servers will be the best. The problem is not the what script are you using if that legal. But you minimum need 1Gbps Speed to grow your site , so don't go for 10/100mbps. Talking about good vps - The only VPS companies will able to help you - who offer you free tech support. You can go to the Liquidweb kind of sites they offer you managed service but the real deal is when you using their server, you must use control panel like cPanel or Directadmin - the server company will turn away then when you asked them for help. The reason is - the company only ready to manage your service on your vps not you other stuff. Also they are ask you money just to find the issue and let you know.
So you see choosing the right provider is not that easy. But it's not that hard even if you just talk with them before signup! hope you got my point.

    Good Luck.

New York or Los Angeles??? Dallas will easily be the fastest for major datacenters to Oklahoma City.

I was thinking the same thing.

I really appreciate all of you taking the time to answer my questions and help me this issue. I learnt more from y'all than I did from my computer science degree. :)
