I was looking through this forum and see many people talking about this host and that host and offering reviews about different hosts. But I figured why not get paid for choosing a host. The Offer: Sign up for HostGator today and remain with them for 30-45 days and receive $50 via PayPal. If your interested... send me a PM.
I have used an affiliate program from A2hosting.com and I don't plan to chage it for something unknown.
^^ Well I used HostGator.com before and their hosting and support was excellent. Why I am not with them? Because I entered a contest at another hosting spot (NetpreneurHost.com) for a free year of hosting and I won... so I am hosting with them now
whats the catch ? they only offer $50 for a signup that will remain for more than 30 to 45 days. how can you give $50 for the guy who is registering under your affiliation link. how are you getting that money ?
There is no catch... its an affiliate program. For each person who signs up and is a new customer to HostGator, they pay me for it. I take that money and pay YOU. They usually want 30 days to confirm its a legitimate sale... so if you join and cancel within' 30 days, I won't get paid and neither will you. Its as simple as that... there are other hosts who pay just as much but I am only with HostGator right now (through CJ.com)
I've confirmed through HG that this kind of incentivised marketing isn't allowed. I remember a guy at DP trying the same as you and HG forfeiting the commissions.
I am paid $100 for each person... I am splitting with you 50/50 Mind providing your confirmation... I don't remember this being covered in the Terms of Use that I read. I joined via CJ.com by the way.
well i have tried to do the same, threw cj.com with my website SignOffers and i was rejected because we offer incentivzation as well. although some other hosts do allow incentives, HG not.
As I said... the terms and conditions never stated it so if they are to be rejected it, I'll be glad to point it out to them. Until its in the terms, for each one I do then I have a right to be paid. If they don't then I'll just report them to CommissionJunction for it. Plus, I don't see why they don't, incentive sites used to use them like crazy before and some still do except the incentive sites require you to stay with them for more then a month.
