Hello all Hostgator Cheat me i reffer my friend to buy hosting with hostgator but hosgator said he already is our member but he is not already member he using her friend paypal then hostgator said he already our customer.. they cheated me i send many mails and proof but they did not pay me my reffering money
Probably his friend is already a hostmonster customer? Or she might have helped someone else to buy a hostgator account? Generally they don't cheat. Their system is very transparent, and they are very prompt with the payment.
I guess one of the ways Hostgator recognizes a new customer is by the payment method, if the same payment account is used for several accounts it will not consider it a new customer. This makes perfect sense because the commission they pay is higher than a monthly subscription cost. I bet this is all covered by the TOS you agreed to when you signed up with their affiliate program.
yeah, i trust you even i have not use hostgator. i had a very bad experience with media temple before, they don't refund me although i have canceled the plan in the first month. sure media temple is much popular and bigger than hostgator. anyway they are both suck.
It can happen with these companies They always like to cut off Affiliate commissions, and i dont think they got any big liability if stat has missed something, btw, Hostgator is good in affiliations comparing with others. There are more cheaters and scammers Lol!
i promote hostgator through my free host.they just cancel my my account and keep the money. and i used them as customer and they suspended my account and telling that i am using more resource.they are overselling every thing after that i never deal with hostgator.
elavenil are affiliate TOS clearly says we don't allow promotion on free hosts. We've done this in the past and have been burned with over 95% fraud rates.
