Did they stop paying their affiliates? I contacted them several times in last 2 months and they keep delaying the payments. Also read lot of negative reviews about them in other forums. Anyone else facing similar issue? They are holding my $14k from last 3 months.
That's definitely a large amount to hold back. Are they giving you any reasons for the delays? How was their payment schedule before this? Have you received confirmation that other HG affiliates have received their payments, or are they being delayed as well? Do you have a phone contact at HG you can get a hold of? You may get a lot further this way than any other.
No reason, they just say that i will get paid next week. Till September, payment were always on time. I do not have ph contact but I contacted the owner of hostgator and waiting for his reply.
I'd call this bad luck is all. This is hardly a scam. One complaint out of thousands and thousands of years across several years is not a scam. Especially in all CAPS.

Same was the case with me till September. Another reason to avoid payment, they can also ban me after clearing my payment as i have stopped promoting them.
I heard hostgator was sold a few months ago which would be about the time that others started having issues.
I had a few hundred that was never paid. Gave up on it in the end after getting nothing but bad support from them.
Typically HG is right on the ball when it comes to suspending overdue accounts, but I also noticed this month that they were behind and I had one account that wasn't suspended for weeks after overdue payment, when it is usually suspended after just a few hours of being overdue.
They are legit as can be, I use them for Dedicated servers, shared hosting, I have received a little over $500 from their Affiliate Program.
Working with them for quite some time now. Never had any issues with their payment. I hope you'll get your payment soon.

Just try their CJ affiliate program instead of in-house affiliate program. They have a very less chance to cheat you because CJ monitors the all advertisers. I guess new owner; EIG going to destroy the reputation of the hostgator brand.
