Hostgator affiliate payments

I am wondering if anyone here has ever been paid by them. I know one person who has been waiting a while and someone else who has been waiting around a month.

They offer a realativly high payout so if anyone here has been paid it would be a great affiliate option.

 

i've read recently that people have been waiting for their payment as well.

 

I was paid, but it took about three months before I received the commission check. I believe, since they pay $100 on a $9.95 account, they hold the commission for a while to make sure the referral is going to stay with them.

Thanks for the help. Well it has been around 4 months for the first person and probably a month for the other person. I guess they will just have to wait and see.

 

Yep they wait for referral to buy at least 2 months hosting which is kind of logical since they pay you 100$ for 9.95$ sign up

I just checked and they cleared the pending commissions after 2 months so I guess next month I will be paid. I can now start promoting them again

Just read their TOS guys
They pay only for the affs you made before a month

Like,

You make a sale in January
And also make 2 sales in february.

You get 100$ in march
You get 200$ in April.

Simply explained.

 

They sent me a check for $150 but it took 3 months.
