Hosted Wordpress Blog - Can I change the theme.

I have just signed up for a free wordpress blog hosted on another site. Can I add a different theme or new widgets to this blog and if so how would I go about doing it?

I have had a look around the admin area but I cannot see anywhere to upload or choose new themes.

I do not have access to the server as the blog is hosted elsewhere not at wordpress or my own domain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Mostly if you hosted in the free wordpress, the admin of the websites will determine which theme that they want to include in.
My advice is, try and buy a domain which are cheap nowadays and get the free hosting. You are free to do anything.

    Just my opinion

So it's not wordpress.com? Then it's probably running Wordpress Mu, in which case the owner pre-determines which theme(s) you can use. If you don't see the Theme tab in the Presentation menu you're simply stuck with what's there.
