Hosted at - Mountain View - Google Inc

I have been doing some research on various blog sites and noticed that a few of them are hosted at "Mountain View - Google Inc".

Is google a hosting company or do some hosting providers use googles server for hosting via cloud services?



Any ideas?

Blogger is one of the google hosting service (Free blogs)

Most likely blogs hosted by blogger, which is owned by Google.

Quite possibly yes and maybe thats it.

I am assuming with blogger you can use a cname on a domain dns records to point to a blogger account.

So what I was probably looking at was a blogger account masked as a real domain which is hosted on blogger.

I was a bit worried because I was offered link sales from those two domains and was a little suspicious when I saw they were hosted at google thinking that maybe it was a trap.

 

Google only hosts with Blogger, i don't think they run a hosting company also.
