Hostdepartment.com killed me

    im killed by hostdepartment.com . i have hosted my site tipsfind.com in hostdepartment. my site is down for 3 days.... and now i have decided to change the hosting server... but the problem is i can't backup my files and database. i need to backup my database and all files badly. moreover i lost my users.
    Please dont use hsotdepartment.com as your hosting company.

    Why did your site(s) go down in the first place? Any idea?

    No idea.they have lots of servers, i think most of the servers are down of hostdepartment.

    No, I don't think that is the case - I checked on Domaintools.com for your domain (see here) - your domain is indeed not available - it gives a 500 timeout error.

    However, if you scroll down the domaintools page you can see that there are 1631 sites hosted on that server. Check one or two of them and they seem to be working fine.

    From McFox's post, it seems possible that your account might be locked by the hosting provider or someone hacked your site. Did you try to contact theeir contact person?
    Also you must have an ip address for cpanel. Try to login with the ip address. Your ip is showing as 205(.)209(.)97(.)226. Check if this is right or not.
