Or just contact the hosting company its a good test for customer relation. Beside that if they say they do support Drupal you got an e-mail as confirmation so if there will be any complications then just show them the e-mail they send you
Me I use dreamhost and I have over a dozen of drupal sites hosted on the same account. No problem at all. You can read online reviews that dreamhost mysql servers are slow, well I never find it to be the case, so those reviews from past years might be outdated.
