There are only a couple things that are not compatible.... including SSI (Server Side Includes) But we can pipe that from apache without apache running....

Cpanel is 100% compatible with Lite Speed. Zend, Ioncube, Everything...

 

Well unfortunately that means you are violoating the EULA of litespeed then.

It's always a good idea to read licensing agreements thoroughly and in some cases even have a lawyer look at it.



This part in their EULA is a big reason a lot of hosts are not using it due to the fact how easily customers can host adult content without you knowing and also the fact it hurts your business not allowing it.

Yeah unfortunately for us that's what we feel about litespeed. And since they feel the need to restrict content just to worrisome they may take it even further. Plus I figure for the cost of it probably does not outweigh the benefits. Can just run Apache2.x (which is pretty good compared to 1.x) and also get an extra machine to redistribute the load. So use the expense of it and when you're using 4 and 8 way systems and just get an extra system all together.

Well at least you're willing to accept you made a mistake and correct your terms to reflect it. Most on here would just say we offer adult content anyways we won't get caught.

Well... for me, hosting adult content is a moral issue. I simply don't like hosting it. (Hey what's your job? I host porn sites. Oh really...? and walks away)

Thats great!!! Did you guys hear the latest? There is some guy going around saying that hostparlor stole his credit card and used 250.00 of it to buy our server from layeredtech???? We go through R & D Technologies? And that we are calling 1900 numbers using it??? WOW the stories some come up with these days..... Umm why don't he call the cops if we did that is what i don't understand... Anyway Yeah we don't allow porn content anymore because we are not giving up litespeed... Its way to good.

 

Go figure, always some moron that is jealous of your successful services. What makes it such a need to make a host look like a criminal not only to embarrase yourself in the process? I'd love to see people who wrongfully accuse others pay the price.

 

Eddie(HostParlor) is a great guy and has spent around 2 hours helping me with my vps and he's been talking to me for a few days about hosting. Whatever you hear about him is honestly a lie and Eddie's a honest hard working guy who is dedicated to his business and always works to fix problems.
