Host screwed everything up

Okay, to make a long story short:

I'm using the addon tool on cpanel with my host. One URL didn't work. They decided to "fix" it for me. In the process, they wiped out most of the information of most of my sites. Luckily I had a backup from a week ago for most of then. However, the issue doesn't end there.

I can't work on non-live sites because when I access my main domain name through my host, it returns an error. And some of my sites (phpbb forums), when loggin in, redirect to www.maindomain.com/forumdirectory/login.php as opposed to www.forumdirectory.com/login.php. This also returns an error.

It's been like four days since this issue happened, and they've been extremely slow to help.

Now, the irony is this - not only did I loose a boatload of information, and not only is the host not correcting the issues at hand, but the addon tool won't work, not even for domains that were previously set up there.

So I'm clueless at what to do from here as opposed to attempt to find a new host. Advice is greatly appreciated.

Did you have it all backed up?
They probably have it somewhere in their clause that you can't blame them for data loss in situations like this, you should check.

Well, they lost the data in an attempt to fix the problem. I had some backed-up, but what I did was about a week and a half old. Their latest back up was early November.
