Host Gator Reseller

I am going to be starting a web hosting company on the future. However before I start with using Dedicated Servers to sell hosting. I have been thinking about starting with a Host Gator Reseller.

Now I was wondering if anyone can answer these questions:

    1. Is the Host Gator Reseller quality? Is it worth using.
    2. Will people sign up knowing that it's a reseller?
    3. As anyone got any feedback. Good or Bad?

    Thanks,
    BlueEew.

honestly you can find cheaper but hostgator is good
if you want my affiliate code to help me out then ask :p

i used hostgator for 6 months now have moved to a different company because they honestly sorta gave me a better price deal but there are sacrifices to be made for that :p

I would keep them in mind but look further. Check out westhost, lunarpages and some of the hosts that frequent dp.

Those knowledgeable of the business will know you're a reseller. There are tell-tell signs.

    Those who aren't won't care.

The biggest issue about being a reseller is that you cannot sell reseller accounts. I had a dedicated server for two years beginning in 2002 and some of my highest paying clients were resellers.

Obviously, it is cheaper to start out as a reseller. I would consider site5.com over Host Gator any day, though. I have a reseller account there for personal use and have had it for almost 2 years now.

Once you're making enough to warrant a dedicated server, that is the route you need to take in order to be legitimate in the hosting industry.

Why not better go with a VPS or managed dedicated server. I you check my signature you will find not only 50% OFF in all the shared, VPS and dedicated hosting, but also features and specs.

VPS's start from $29 and dedicated servers from $49
