Host Gator opinions

Hostgator is really awesome webhosting provider.
I recommend them for small websites ,for shared package.
If you get big traffic , they will probably tell you to upgrade to virtual private servers.

 

I've been using hostgator on one of my sites for around a year without issue. Very fast and reliable, support has always been prompt.

 

I've used HostGator for a couple years and have been very satisfied. They have been good value for the money.

 

I like hostmonster as well..

Yes Host Gator is the good server for small website, i am also using that for my sites, it is provide good facility for websites

 

I have three hosting account asmallorange, dreamhost, adns.us. I am getting good service from all of them choose anyone you like.

Something Ironic: I used to host the guy who owns hostgator.....back when he made websites instead. Kinda funny.

 

yep hostgator is def. a good starting platform for sites until they start earning their way - i agree that the cpanel is a little dated but usable - i do most stuff via FTP so works o.k.

 

Yeah got some clients hosted in there. Nice company.

I use hostgator for about 90% of my websites anymore. Yes, go for it!

 

l use them and they have live chat which is useful for a quick answer, they have transfered a few sites of mine to the account, when you join you get your first site transfered free if you want others it is only $10 or about £5
l think you can can have unlimited domain the first month is $7 then $9.99 for baby croc which is a good package

 

I have been using HG for about 2 years and I have never had a problem. Their support is excellent and friendly and uptime is 100%.

I recommend them.

 

Valid thread guys....I've also condsidered moving over to Host Gator.

 

I have personally used Host Gator for almost 2 years now. My sites have never been down and I also host multiple sites on one account. Whenever I have had to call for support, I've gotten nothing but great service from their support team.

I think the longest I've ever had to wait for support to take my call is maybe a little over 5 minutes. But once they answered, they helped get the issued solved immediately and they weren't rude doing it either. I would suggest anyone looking for a cheap hosting service to start out with Host Gator. That's just my opinion.

I registered with Hostgator Yesterday.. I'm transferring my websites from Namecheap.
Sofar, their LiveChat support looks good. Presently I'm quite happy with them.

 

I like them too looks like a great host, i think once a few of my sites out grow there hosting plans i may move.

 

they are fine, i host many websites with them.
