Host for XXX images

My web-host temporary suspended my domain. He said that my Word press installation was too heavy for the server. Is this really possible? Because I only have 300 visitors a day! I have lot's of plug-ins installed and also relatively more images than most of the websites. It is a shared hosting 5GB and 75GB Data per month!

He suggested me to use another host for images! Is there a free or cheap service where I can host my high resolution images? An image-host that doesn't delete the images after a while and a image-host that also allows adult content?

Cuz I don't want imagesshack frogs on my website :p

Most are anime, but those can be 18+ sometimes. My host does allow adult pics, but the problem is that it makes my website too heavy for the server.

So I'm looking for a new webhost and probably aalso a new webhost for images.

Hosting images on shared hosting environment is risky. You should consider a budget VPS if you wanna host some images in my opinion

There are two different things at play here.

    1) Your images
    2) "Word press installation was too heavy for the server"

Go back to your host and tell them to provide you with exactly what is causing the problems. If it is the WordPress install that is causing excessive CPU usage, excessive memory usage, excessive SQL access, etc., then moving your images off-server is not going to fix the problem. Your main site (WordPress) is still going to take the same amount of visits, and is still going to be resource-intensive

The problem sounds like you have way too many plug-ins for WordPress (you mention that) and you're just using too many resources. If it really is that resource-intensive, a VPS or dedicated server would be the solution.

Thanks for the replies. I will move to another host, because there are too many issues with my current one.

Another friend of me offered me a better deal :)

So I assume VPS hosting is needed for you in this case.

I know VPS or dedicated is better, but it is too expensive for a student and I don't have that much traffic

Perhaps you need to work on low end VPS instead?
