Host disabled sites

Recently my host disabled my sites because of high cpu useage. Their suggestion was that I upgrade my account to a dedicated server.

This isn't something I want to rush into and I want to take a look at what other hosts offer.

My question is if the search engines see that my sites are offline for a week or so, will I lose all of my indexed pages and if so, once the sites come back online, would the indexed pages show up quickly again in the search engines?

    Thank you

Might take more than a week to deindex you but certainly not a good position to be in. I had that happen a couple months ago (who are you hosting with? Might be the same guy. :p). I would ask them which script it is and see if they'll let you stay if you disable it, then maybe see what's wrong with it or find another host. Taking down your site without warning is crappy customer service if you ask me.

Your pages could be deindexed only by MSN in such a short time.
However, they will pretty quickly index them back.

I think, if your site's content original, search engines will quickly index your pages again. Unless, there are lots of sites that in your content, this would be bad for you. You can wait a bit more.

is your host emaxhosting by any chance? I know it is a long shot, but these guys are known for disabling people's accounts for this reason, so I was just wondering.
