you can use google's custom domain feature. To setup the domain you can follow the details in this tutorial

Don't follow the last part of the tutorial ie the godaddy hosting part..

Just use redirection in Godaddy and redirect the domain to http://www.yourdomain.com (if you are to get your blogger blog on www.yourdomain.com

Hope this helps.. if you have any trouble,i can help you as i already have a blogger blog with a custom domain..

You can change the "A records" of your URL in Godaddy to point to your blogger domain. It should work.

If you register with our service, GDI, we have a funtion to redirect your ur URL to the new one. So if your visitor still dont get information about your new URL, They will directly redirect to your new URL(domain). Simple, easy and very fast.

I'm using GDI myself and I want to point a blogger blog to a sub folder of my domain. Is this possible?

I finally ended up going with Wordpress. Warning though if you're using a free wordpress site they'll kick you out for marketing etc. I only use wordpress on my own domain for marketing. Blogger is great for free since it allows marketing. Google owns it and allows adwords on it of course
