Hello Everyone,

I am currently in the bidding process for host.asia I wanted to get the feedback on how much this domains could be worth? (Please Appraise)

Getting second opinion can help me with my bidding process (currently 2K+)

Any feedback is appreciated

 

i would not pay 2 thousands dollar for this, due to following reasons,

First it is not word "Hosting"
Second its not word "webhosting"

Host.asia is very nice generic word but I would not pay 2 thousands, i rather put 2 or 3 LLL.nets in my pockets, which is safe investment.

 

I'm not a fan of the extension so I personally wouldn't buy it. I think 2k is a lot for that type of a domain unless you are going to market it really well. Overall, I don't think it's worth it.

 

great name, can be needed by companies hosting events in the future

but i think 2k is into the high side, and i dont think you can sell it quickly even to that price in the reseller market

better investment opportunies do exist in premium .com/.net market and they are highly liquid

 

i personally own few top level .asia domains.

like :

webdesign.asia
savefile.asia

i think think it will be well worth 2K for the person who want to develope it.

i think i would push it to 3k eventhough it could be worth a lot more.

its not what domains worth, its what it you can do with it, name like that is well worth havin.

there are plenty of .eu's out there which have done well once developed.

Thank you for the great response. I will be more conservative on this one. As I have another domain in the pipeline for bidding "bid.asia" which I think that it can go over this price.

 

"host" is brandable, short & easy to remember...but according to wordtracker, it gets around 240 or so queries per day. That's an ok number, but not worth a $2k price tag.

 

Thank you, I just got outbid for the name $2,250 was my max bid.
I will have to hold on to see how high it will get, mybe i will just let it go.

 

Personally, I wouldn't pay $2k for this name. Personally, I wouldn't even waste my money on the .asia extention.

I personally don't think its worth $2000, but im sure in the NEAR future it will be worth much more!

for me it is a good name but it is a big risk to take going on this tld!
