Host analytics code file ga.js Locally ???

    i am getting messages in google webmaster tools for my one website

    so could i host analytics code file ga.js Locally on my server ? will it affect my site rankings ?

    please help me on this.

    I've been telling people not to host it themselves for quite some time now. There are a lot of popular sites using Google Analytics, meaning there is a good chance hosting it yourself is actually slowing the request down when the visitors browser could have just used the cached version of ga.js they already have. :)
