I just visuted anhosting.com, in the first page there is one thing that grabed my attention. host 10 domains in 1 account... now i will pay 6,95 a month and host up to 10 web sites? what is the trick? otherwise the service is much better than other hosts where you pay more or less the same price but host only 1 domain! anyone familiar with this?
Try hostmonster.. 3.95$ / p.m for 50GB space and host unlimited domains.. Some banners are there in my directories if you want to sign up
i guess i am used to yahoo and godaddy... anyway i called them and all the sites will have the same ip, they do the redirect internally. i understand i wont gain from links internally, but what about google pagerank and that stuff, will having 10 domains on 1 ip have any impact? or they will behave just like if i had 10 different hosts
PR is another story than links, you will have all the PR you deserve. By the way, if the sites are related to each other you can link inside the same IP.
As others have said this is pretty common now and 10 for 6.95 is about the right price for someone who is really going to let you have some traffic and features. Just keep in mind that if you have any high cpu or bandwidth sites that you might get in trouble with the TOS. Always read those carefully. Most sites are not affected by this.
lol there are lots of cheap hostings with unlimited domains now a days...wel yours also not bad..keep checking out though..
I believe he is thinking of a trick in the belief that such hosting will give away 10 domains for hosting its actual domain. That is not the case, the offer is host of up to 10 domains that you already own in 1 one account, this is, 11 domains that you have already purchased.
The "trick" for unlimited domains if you didn't know this, would be that you pay $9 per domain to park/register it. These offers only meen that if you pay $9 for another domain, you wont have to pay for another plan
