Ok I started my site, last year in October.. So I've been looking at Google adsense stats on my site , I made a report of [1st october to 20th 2006] October, EcPM of about 80 cents total page impressions for the monthy 6000.. yay Ok so I now did the same thing for this year , may I note the total page impressions is 170k+ , my ecPM has dropped to 0.09 and my earning are LOWER than before !! WHY ?! I don't get it, my site has been going up slowly in traffic, and as far as I know its 'quality traffic' . So why am I getting this :'( I don't understand what i'm doing wrong! Look at the ads that are showing up on your page. I can not imagine that "bleach download" advertisement CPC is very high. Or maybe Google does in fact not like you. JK
It could very well be that the price advertisers in your category are not paying very much for their advertisements. Do you have an Adwords account where you could sort of reverse-test the theory?
...and then on the stage comes Competitive Ad Filtering. Do some research; using AdSense preview tool, check all the sites that advertise on your web site - if there's a site that looks awfully designed with not much content on it, and which advertises on your site, it is probably low-paying. I have about 60 sites on my "black list". Also, visit Vision i.T. Service's adsblacklist.com
Your site offers quality content that users like to BROWSE instead of just CLICK an ad and leave. Time for you to start a pop up where you can grab leads. Or try converting whatever traffic you get - to sales
Basically I think you are in the wrong niche (content of your website) to make a decent dollar..with 800 views / 30 clicks a day, I make around $30 dollars a day
