Horrible Support

    I joined up with Digital point, after a few weeks randomly my account was suspended for duplicate accounts, when I've only made one.

    1. I have no clue what the duplicate account was, I've only ever made the one account, and was only active for a few weeks.

    2. I phoned/emailed and made every effort to contact someone about the issue, but being blocked from the forum I couldn't post for almost 2 months or so.

    Your forum support is really horrible, the numbers for the main page don't go anywhere and nobody responds to the support emails.

    I still have no freakin clue what the duplicate account was that caused my suspension, and without knowing what the issue was I have no way to rectify it.

    I'm very unhappy with the customer service so far..

    customer service? does this look like freaking Wal Mart?

    being a customer implies some financial arrangement, who did you pay?

    Semantics, Semantics.. common.. use some common sense. Customer/Client/End User/Forum poster.. same crap.

    If your going to suspend users and have no support unless you can post, that seems pretty screwy.

    There should at least be one open forum for support.

    So it's apparent you can mock my feedback, but I still haven't a clue why my account was suspended in the first place.

    So which volunteer can research this for me and make better use everyone's time?

    there is nothing in your profile that would suggest you were banned.
    so, as far as we the moderators are concerned, you were never banned.

    your posting habits stopped last March and just now started up.
    why you stopped posting i haven't a clue.

    there really isn't anything else i can say about this.

    and i suspect the other moderators here will tell you the same thing.

    If you have private issues with your account, contact a moderator privately via PM. Read the stickies - don't start threads to complain about infractions / bans. If you cannot PM a moderator, several of us have sites in our sigs that will give you email addresses. Only use that method as a last resort.

    Just chill.

    DP is a cool place, Bit rough around the edges at times but a great place.

    Be cool to the mods here as well, the do this all for free on their own time, You can post now ;-)
