Horrible Attack on PayPal, Spoof & Scam Emails BEWARE. Bank Websites Attacked Too

I've been using online payment processors for years and never had a problem, own several debit and credit cards.

In 2010 the level of cybercrime has increaded dramatically.

    • Every day I receive scam emails about PayPal, inviting me to click links
    • I have seen websites Perfect copy of PayPal
    • Bank websites have been hacked last couple of days including Otp bank, one of the largest in Europe.

They made a website perfect copy of the original and sent people emails, thousands of customers burnt.

It got so bad the orignal bank website closed and they had to announce it on the news!

I have never seen anything like this.

I entered my credit card details only twice - once on PayPal and once on iverified and they stole my braned new credit card details and made purchases using my card.

This is a complete nightmare both for merchants suffering chargebacks and customers.

What is even more shocking is that bank clerks said they fear for their own accounts as millions of credit card details were stolen last year.

What is the world coming to...

I don't feel safe when using PayPal, I used to shop online with pleasure.

Anyone other victims of cybercrime here? What can ordinary people do to fight this plague?
