Hello, Hopefully, somebody would be kind enough to help me understand what the HECK just happened to my Alexa "sites that link here" statistics. We own www.whispy.com and while checking my stats on Alexa today I noticed that all of a sudden after 6 years, under "Sites that link here" is now a 1?!! We had 1600 or more for the past several years --and when I checked two days ago. Help understanding if this is just a horrible error or if something else is the cause, would be GREATLY appreciated.
Wow that is a pretty remarkable change. I'm hoping it was just an error too. Have you checked your Google BL's and made sure that it hasnt rolled it back on you for some reason??? Either way if the traffic is still flowing to your site its probably something you dont need to worry about. cheers
It shows "Other sites that link to this site: 1,317" for me. And the link to see those sites... here.
Alexa seems to have restored most (not all)of the backlinks, but I'll be sure not to worry again about it. The strange thing is, MOST of our advertisers DO CARE very much and ask about our Alexa stats quite frequently. I wonder why? A couple are big companies and should know better too ... one would think.
