Hi Folks Next month (April), I will be looking for someone to create a horizontal translucent scrolling marquee that will be positioned along the bottom of my site. If this is something well within your capabilities, please read the details below and leave a response in this thread. The reason i'm posting now as opposed to next month is so that i can have someone ready for when i'm ready. When i've posted jobs on DP in the past, it can, sometimes, take a few days going backwards and forwards with freelancers, for a whole variety of reasons. Some of you will now what i mean This marquee must be lightweight jQuery and semi transparent, something like the ‘Live Questions Scrollbar on this site. We may have to play with the colours and transparency so that it blends in with the theme of my website. Perhaps someone can find a script somewhere and customise it from that? I've already looked for a WP plug-in but couldn’t find anything that resembled what I'm after. The Scroll Data From this scrollbar I want to add short questions. But when the links are clicked, a popup box will zoom into view with the answer displayed using Highslide JS (already using it on the site). A sample of their HTML content popup can be seen a third of the way down the page. Failing the above, I will just use the scrolling marquee for site updates linking to various pages around the site, although I do prefer the first option if possible. Regards Andii PS - As this will not be a WP plug-in, I'm assuming I'll have to edit a file to add to, or delete from, the scrolling marquee, so please think about making this part of the operation as clean and as simple as possible when considering the job at hand. Thanks juggalox I'm surprised with the number of responses i've had already (private messages). I thought this might have been one of those jobs that didn't get a lot of attention.
