Hi all, As you can all see,i'm a newB here. I'm new to webdesign/HTML/JS/etc...I know very basic HTML. Now, i have been entusted to create a website for the company i work. In this regard, i was looking for a DHTML/CSS dropdown menu generator which is FREE. Believe me when i say ihave looked around, and the best i could find was OpenCube Navstudio, but thats expensive and the free version needs you to add their link on every page where u use the menu. I'm not big into coding JavaScript or HTML so the option of writing one myself is ruled out. Can you guys help me out?? I really need a drop down menu generator with almost no/minimal coding involved. Thanks in advance king_nothingzzz
I don't know of one out there. It's a lot of work to put together something that is cross browser/cross version compatible. I mean a lot of work. I doubt there's a free product out there that will generate it for you. The best you could do is take one from an existing site - and even then you probably will have to delve through a lot of stuff to make it work on your site without knowing what you are doing - and you very well could end up breaking browser compatibility in the process.
or you will find several @ http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/index.html not sure how seo friendly they all are tho.
This menu rocks, but has anyone noticed a problem with firefox version 1.1 positioning? I've used php to sort it out.
