it doesn't mean that way. What we meant was for you to only click those links that appeal to you and not "keep on" clicking the other's people ads. That will eventually get him banned.

    Hope that helps

Offcourse We can click others ads

there are many people who want to attract webmasters to thier sites and if most of the webmasters who are signed up with adsense wont be allowed to click the ads then how will the advertiser get what he wants

    this is just an example

the rule is only "don't click your own ads"

then you can decide what you want to do.

Although, of course, you should never click ads just to get your buddy some bucks. But if you're truly interested in the ad, then there's no reason not to click it.

Well this thread has really pointed out a massive gray area and the "human factor" when it comes to clicking an ad. Why? Well, lets face it, theres no click fraud algorithm in the world that can detect of someone is clicking on an ad because he knows the webmaster or is seriously interested in the ad.

The only thing that could be done is recording and reviewing activity to detect human behaviour. For example if the same IP address visits xyz.com every day and clicks on an ad then leaves then that looks suspicious.

As webmasters and honest internet users (hopefully) you just need to use common sense before clicking an ad. Ask yourself, "am i genuinely interested in this ad or am I doing it as a favour for the publisher?"

Come on man. Do you seriously think google would allow such things? Do you think they will really pay anyone just for making "clicking deals" on the net?

No I don't, of course not. But it does happen and it does go undected. Click fraud is not an exact science. Its merely a set of stategies with levels of acceptance.

I'm presuming Google also have a way of checking if Mr X is clicking on Mr Y's ads while Mr Y has done the same for Mr X's ads. Or even some correlation between larger groups of adsense users.
I bloody hope they do..lol...otherwise it's the rest of us who lose out!

Yes of course you can click
the ads of other sites even
you are a member of adsense.
But you click on a particular site often
    the site might be banned...
