For the sakes of plugins and some other SEO neccessities and the fact that we are familar with wordpress and not so much on the Joomla platform we are looking to take over a clients site and wanted to know how much of a pain in the ass is it to transform a picks website done in Joomla with a shopping cart to turn it into a Wordpress website?
more details? What is the template like etc? If its not a large site just start a wp install from scratch. If your going to want to retain customer data etc then your going to have your work cut out for you - I know of no migration script that will handle that.
