Hi DP, Ok I'm stuck between two logos and I don't know what one to use, so I am coming to you for your opinion. Please help me decide! The logo is for a local web development/design company. The first logo features a mountain, because that's what the city is known for. The second logo is more abstract and features a C and D depending on what way you look at it, to represent the initials of the company. What one do you like better? Any feedback is appreciated! Logo 1 Logo 2
I think I prefer the second one, as it represents the initials of the company, this can help people remember your company name.
I like the second one too but the space taken up (three lines) may be too much. Anyway if you could use a different font for the characters it could look better. Just my two cents
I like the second one, but I'd maybe try left-aligning the company name and moving the mark to the left side.
Thanks for everyone's input so far just tried re-positioning everything: Do you think it still looks better?
I like logo #2... simply because its kept simple simplicity is the key always well...(99% of the time)
If I had to choose it'd be number 1, but I personally wouldn't choose either. A different font would probably spice it up a bit. What sort of stuff does the company design?
I vote for the third one 1) The fist one. The logo text it's too big and it kills the icon. Probably if you will center the text, reducing its size a little bit, and put the icon above, it'll be better. 2) The second one. Letters spacing like this is really awful. Probably you should to get rid of it. 2.2) The second variant with re-positioning is better, but letter-spacing Probably if you will color DC to yellow, and the square point to green it will be better. Try also to flip the icon horizontally, so it'll be more stable. I think you should to pay more attention to the tape-face, letter-spacing and other typographical details.
I should go for the logo 2. You may ask why? Well I can say that it's more professionally design, the text really stand out what the company or business is. The logo 1 have that kind of rounded type of text which I think some kind of fancy kind of business can only use it.
I'd use something like that. I prefer the design of the first one. But since people like the logo of the second. Why not combine? Use the first layout with the second design in place of the first mountain design.
