I don't really care, either way unless of course they live and some how I have to pay to keep their mangled bodies alive maybe someone should a cost benefit analyses to see which is cheaper
Now see that's the problem I have with it. I shouldn't have to pay more for motorcycle, car, or health insurance due to idiots like that. This is also why I'm against a national health care plan. And of course if they ever get back on their feet, they'll sue the person who's car or house they crashed into, or the ambulance company, or hospital.
We have no helmet law in Colorado. I've ridden with and without, and either way I know that when I get on a motorcycle I am responsible for my own skull. The government needs to stick to what it was authorized to do in the Constitution.
My advice for you is not too then. And you are certain this is a direct result of a helmet law? "From Florida Today Brevard County - Authorities are concerned today after a rash of motorcycle deaths this weekend in Brevard County. Since the helmet law was repealed in 2000, police have seen a steady increase in the number of rider fatalities, but that is not their main concern. What worries police is the growing popularity of speed. All three fatalities this weekend were due to drivers driving at speeds of over 100 mph. One rider and his passenger slammed into a car while fleeing police, and another rider struck a postal worker crossing the road, dismembering the pedestrian. There were 469 motorcycle accident fatalities in the State of Florida in 2005." I find it interesting that no where in this article does it indicate how many of these 469 fatalities were related to not wearing a helmet. In fact, the three weekend fatalities all appear to be high speed related, not helmet or no helmet related. You can make just about anything look how you want by simply neglecting to explore all the data as a whole. BTW, no helmet law in Wisconsin, but I choose to wear one when I ride.
yeah, I can totally see you and will as dorky middle age bikers if you don't wear a helmet and you hit your head going at any reel speed, your done, either dead or brain damaged, how could you not think the rise in fatalities is linked to people not wearing helmets?
If you're on a motorcycle and you hit anything going at any real speed, you're done. About this, I do not care. My only interest is that the decision, and the consequences, be personal and not governmental.
My step father and his brother were fairly avid bikers before my step-dad developed his health problems. According to him he once had a skid-out that scraped his leathers clear off, and a bit of his skin as well. Just thank God that he was wearing a helmet so that when he smacked his head on the pavement going at those speeds he wasn't killed.
You are an expert in everything, including statistics.. I guess you missed the point. Then again, including all statistics vs. those that suit your agenda has never been one of your strong points. Something tells me you might not have been wearing a helmet at one time Either way, I agree with Will.. The decision is best left up to the individual. Same goes for seat belt laws...
I don't know if I agree with you about seat belt law but I won't argue with you and little willy about the subject of this thread which is homosexuality. After all you and little willy have many years of on hand experience about this subject while the rest of us can only argue the theoretical side of it.
they may have many years of heterosexual behavior, which is different than your many hours of dreaming about gtech's balls and little boys....
And strangely enough you are the one who follows Gtech around, sucking up to him and wishing you could sit in his lap.
May be you are doing it unconsciously. It is very common for red neck Republicans to be a closet gay. We can all see it, I am surprised that you don't.
Don't worry, I have no interest in it. You can suck on his lollipop as much as you want. How is it going with your sex-change operation, do you still have a crush on Mike?
Well at least you are staying on topic this time. I really do not think people have a problem with your sexual orientation. I think it has more to do with your poor attitude and lack of productive posts here that bother people. As far as homosexuals go, you are not a very nice one.
