Homos should be stopped from adopting children to call their own

They should be stopped from adopting children. There is no a way child can grow up in the right environment. Children are innocent souls that should be given the right upbringing and a chance to lead a normal life. They should be allowed to grow up with the right tendencies. I don't normally praise George Dubya Bush, but I think he has some good ideas on this very issue.

Normal life ? Right tendencies ?
How come children who are adopted by gays can't have a normal life and grow up with the right tendencies ?

I agree, children need a mother and a father. Allowing homos to adopt is liberalism gone haywire.

Based on what exactly? Lot's of children have grown up in families where there isn't a mother and father and they have developed in to secure, happy adults. Equally the opposite can be said about children who have grown up in your so called ideal family where a mother and a father are present.

Imagine this situation. There are three brothers. one is 26 one is 28 and the other is 4. Their parents both die. Should the two older brothers - who live together - Be stopped from fostering and raising their younger brother? or is it just gays who you have a problem with?

I'm pretty sure all studies of homosexual adoption have shown that it does not harm children

Does this mean that single parents shouldn't be allowed to adopt or have children?

They chose to have a lifestyle that does not allow them to bear children naturally, so they should suffer the consequences. Children are not toys that you can just go to your adoption agency and get one to satisfy the yearnings of longing for a child that you would otherwise have had (most likely) - if you had chosen to live a normal life that other moral, upright people do.

I don't believe single people are allowed to adopt are they? Obviously you can't stop people from having kids of their own, though.

    Why?

Why should anyone "suffer" through anything if its avoidable?

Do you think that people who perhaps had a vasectomy or tubes tied and then later want to have children should not be allowed to adopt also?

    Again why?

So, the children should just have to sit around in an orphanage because no one wants them? I'm sure gay people can raise a child with as much love and care as a straight couple could.

I had a friend in high school who lived with her gay uncles, and she had a pretty normal life. Had friends, had boyfriends, didn't get picked on, and thought her uncles were two of the nicest men ever.

I get the impression you like the idea of them "suffering".

What about if someone had an irreversible vasectomy? Should that person not be allowed to adopt because of a "choice" they made?

See you are coming at this from a frankly selfish perspective. It's not about the children for you, It's about not letting "homos" have their own way. If someone, Anyone, Can provide a happy secure home for a child in care who has no one else they should be allowed to do it, Not for themselves, But for the kids.

And what makes it sad is that you, Someone who doesn't care enough to adopt, Is claiming to be more "moral" and "upright" than someone who really wants to help a kid out.

Would you seriously rather see a kid left in an orphanage simply because some people like to put their penis in a different place than you do? It's just sex, Seriously, Get over it.

Single parents should not be allowed to adopt, if a single parent is raising a child as a result of death or divource that's just a necessity.

I think people like you should be banned from raising a child!

Geeze, how can you expect people to take you seriously with this drivel? It doesn't matter whether people are single, married, straight, gay or friggin' purple - if they are capable of providing a loving, nurturing and safe household for a child then they should be able to do so.

I'm curious to see how many children were grown like that and what is the percentage of gay in them ? Probably too early for this kind of studies?
