Hello, maybe someone can shed some light as to why my homepage has stopped being indexed on google but other pages are indexed?

Take a look and please let me know what you think has caused this as it was indexed before. No notifications on webmaster tools do i dont know what the problem is.

You may also need to refresh your browser or even purge your browser catch so that you will see fresh result from Google directly instead of seing what is stored previously on your ISP catching server.

you probably just experienced a caching delay because the cache we get to see from Google comes from cache servers that are not exactly a priority for Google.

I saw a few other people post this same issue and since the homepage is usually the most frequently crawled page that may have something to do with what may be a caching delay. I know it's a scary thing... But if other parts of your site are cached it's probably just a delay.

Between the time you posted here and the time people looked at it the cache delay apparently was filled in. no need to freak out unless the whole site is gone and appears to be de-indexed

I had to delete my browsing cookies and what not. Also i found out why my ranks were lower, i made a mistake on the dmoz listing and its was showing the wrong title tag so i placed a <meta name="robots" content="NOODP"> in the mean time.

Your homepage is indexed, all you need to do is some optimization to make it search engine friendly. Get some quality backlinks for it so that it appear on top listing.

Check your Google webmaster account to see what is the actual problem.

I think it has to do with how i changed the way urls were displayed, so all the threads that were indexed previously are giving errors, now i have to wait for the whole forums to be re-indexed correctly again.
