Hey guys, would you be so kind as to have a quick review of my holding page for my new site: http://www.reviewport.net
Design It's not bad at all, but the three big, white buttons get cut off when you view your site with a monitor that uses only 1024*768 in resolution. If I were you, I would look into adding code that customises the look of your site according to the resolution that you view your site with. I think this probably has been designed on a big nice screen with high resolution, and when you view it on monitors with lower resolution (laptops, old crt-monitors) stuff get too big. When I zoom out in my browser, the design makes more sense. If I was going to be more picky, I think that the general look of the site could use a little more... bite! Don't get me wrong, I think it is neat, nice and clean, but I think it lacks a little chili pepper, if you know what I mean Perhaps making the logo bigger/more conspicuous would be an idea? Concept I understand that your concept is that people can have private reviews, without submitting it to the interwebz for inspection by the general public, and I think the idea is a good one, but it's going to be difficult to market it. At the very least you ought to add the opportunity to make the portfolio submissions public. Designers like to get private feedback, but publicity is also very important, especially for freelancers... Just my 0.02£! Good luck to you!
its content about product review ? i have to register first to see the content, it's going to be difficult to market it
the structure's ok, I like how you've arranged the blocks, but it seems too dark, as for me, with the exaggerated usage of purple. Not judgement, just advice to lighten the colors up a bit.
