I worked on this website for a friend of mine and I'm having a major SEO problem. My blog posts are not showing in Google results. The homepage/blog index page is, but the individual posts are not. Google recognizes the content is from my site, but shows the homepage, not the article page. It's just that the article is being considered "not relevant". Here is an example article: http://yogadork.com/2013/08/02/bikrams-former-head-of-legal-files-extremely-disturbing-complaint-involving-sexual-harassment-discrimination/ Any ideas?
Dont very... i think that's not a big issue.. Google do not take blog posting title immediately it takes some times... Google take homepage at first priority and than consider posting..... I was also facing same problem with my blog... but after some time it will be considered ....... dont worry and wait........
Home page is the highest priority of any website and on sitemap, you need to wait until that post get out of home page after you write articles then it should be instead of the home page on search result. here is what's going on. Your post wouldn't make it to the first pages anyway, therefor your home page made it because it's stronger. when that keyword get out of the homepage, the homepage will disappear, then it will take some time for the post to go up, and only if you don't have high competition.
