Homepage in a second language

    Newbie to Wordpress (was using Drupal before). I need a different homepage for a second language. I am not sure how to name the index.php file with the proper hierarchy. The plugin I am using is WPML Multilingual.

    Make a home page in wordpress and than select the other language option for that page update the changes and than go to setting ->reading select your page(home)as front page. I hope this really willl help you.......

    Thanks, but no it doesn't.
    My homepage is set and I have a front-page.php for the design. The problem is, since I translated it, the translated page still points to front-page.php and I need a different CSS. I am currently looking for an if/else statement to modify which CSS it reads from. Can't find the right value to question though. Ideas?
