Homepage for international subdomains

    I am creating the homepage (www.example.com) for international subdomains (us.example.com, fr.example.com, ru.example.com...).

    For visitors I would like it to redirect to the appropriate subdomain, based on IP->country lookup.

    For robots I would like to show a menu of countries, linking to the subdomains.

    Would this be considered cloaking by major engines? Or manipulation of some kind?

    This is my first time going multilingual, any advice appreciated! :D

    Nice idea can you give or post some example of international subdomains. Im willing to try it if it's free. By the way Im from philippines so "ph.example.com".
