Has anyone else had this problem where the rest of the site appears to be indexed fine but the homepage isn't indexed by Yahoo.

I'm a bit baffled why that is.

    Any thoughts?

Wait for at least a week before doing anything aggressive.

I had the same problem a month ago and it got back to their index and ranking again all on its own. Just make sure you don't link to suspicious sites.

Been there and it just seemed to correct itself after a week or so. I dont worry about Yahoo too much as most of my traffic comes from Google.. but I dont think you have anything to worry about, just give it a few days.

Yahoo's spiders are still a few years behind googles...

Don't worry, they'll fix it eventually if you haven't done anything to deserve it.

    Thanks for the advice.

I've add my site on Yahoo Site Explorer, and submitted the RSS feed, not that I think it'll help, but I'll let you know what happens.

If you email yahoo they might be able to help you. I had a site that they had de-indexed for no reason and I contacted them and they replied that they would look into it. About a week later they emailed back and said that they figured out the problem. Within a week it was partially re-indexed.
