Contest Homepage Design (PSD ONLY) for a Home Construction Website - $150 - 3 Day Contest.

Hi All,

After my last contest had no interest I have decided to be more specific in my requirements as well as increase this contest to $150.

The design is for a brand new builders website http://bit.ly/JVS9ux

1. I only require the PSD of the homepage, no coding is necessary.
2. The design should include a high quality Logo which will also be used on letterheads, emails, and signs. The logo should display "TUG Builders" with the slogan "caring for your home"
3. The design should include the same navigation, phone number, and address as http://bit.ly/rs1drM and include a strong social presence that includes twitter, facebook, and Google+
4. The design should include a small area that displays the last few descriptions "from our blog"
5. it should include a clearly viewable live chat icon.
6. The freephone telephone number should be clearly visible.

I'm highly interested in looking at any open plan designs, but I will consider any designs that are submitted.

I have purchased many logos and website PSD designs from digitalpoint contests and have always chosen a winner that gets paid in full by PayPal.

This contest is for 3 days only but can be extended if any designers need more time.

Hi, may I know what would you do if the logo you prefer and the web design you prefer coming from different designers?

 

The most important thing is the design, and if I'm really not happy with the logo then I will hold another contest For the logo at a later date.

any specific color-scheme ??

 

You can use the standard lorum ipsum text.
You can use any colour scheme you like.

Hi hpaul2,

I like parts of your design especially the logo.
I like how the tab at the top looks as though it's pushed in.
I like the green ticks with the list of trades that we can do.
The request a quote is positioned very well and will catch anyone's eye when visiting the site.
Everything after the top banner is not really appealing to me and kind of lacks finishing touches, just seems a bit plain.

Can you please give more info about the company. In brief, as to what it does/will do, and how big its operations are or are going to be?

 

Hi,

Our services cater for all aspects of home improvements, from building an extension or loft conversion, to painting a single door. We employ experienced and qualified staff to UK standards and currently have a team of 10 individuals.

When someone calls us or requests a call from the order form, we discuss a suitable time for one of our contracts managers to view the potential clients property and price the job accordingly. The quotation is then given to the potential client in writing leaving them to decide if they would like to proceed with us.

We run a limited company which is fully insured upto 5 million pounds.

The company will be trading under another limited company in London and Hertfordsire, UK. The reason that we are creating a new site is due to our previous site being penilised by Google from the recent major algorithm changes that Google have been implemented, this has caused us to lose a lot of traffic from google which in turn results in less work for our employees.

Ultimately we would like to expand the business nationally across the UK but that is not something we are ready to do at the moment.

Hi Natali,

I like your logo and the top part of the design, but not sure about the rest of it.
The live chat is not in a hot spot, and I don't see a form. The site needs a strong call to action so that I get a higher conversion rate.
I was looking forward to your design as I have purchased from you before so I hope you can try again.

At the moment I can't say I'm 100% happy with anyone's entry but as this is a contest I will choose a winner regardless.
