If you're a veteran, I will help, but my gut tells me you're not. Sorry to be skeptical, but .... 1. Please explain your moniker. SFOD-D223. 2. When and where did you serve? 3. Why are you not getting assistance via the VA? 4. Where's your 214?
It saves the last song that you were playing. When my computer was turned off this was the last station I was listening to on Itunes- "Smoothbeats"...BTW I would never give up my kids to the state. What I meant by "legal" resident is I am not a registered voter in Hillsborough County, social services would not help me or wife. And yes I am a veteran of 8 years from the US Army.
If you are asking what SFOD means, I believe you know what it means.. I was attached to them for various operations in the European theater during Spain Olympics and various goings on in the African continent and small former USSR countries-nuff said.. Also, the VA does not help whole families, if I was alone they would help me immensely. My DD-214 is in my brown folder that I keep with me in case I need it for verification of service and campaign medals.
Folks, he's not asking for a handout here. If you go back and read post one, all he's asking for is to buy a paid link on his directory. $7.00 for a link. He puts food on the table, you get a link in return. What are you going to lose for $7.00, compared to what you are helping? Couple of things worth mentioning here. As a man with a family (if you really care about your family), the most humiliating thing you can ever do is admit you are at your lowest point and need help providing for your family. And you know what, it happens. It happens to the best of men and it's humiliating to go through and even more so to ask for help. Here's what I'll do. I have PR4 categories and subcategories all over my directory. The immediate categories (computers, internet, travel, health, home & garden, etc) are all PR4 and to get listed in the immediate categories requires a featured link. Normally it's $14.95. For the next 48 hours, I'm reducing the featured link to $9.95. See my sig for the directory url. I'll donate all the proceeds to SFOD_D223. Help a veteran out, get a PR4 link, come back to this thread (or send me a PM) and let me know you bought a link on my directory. After 48 hours, I'll tab everything up, post the total amount raised and send the donation to SFOD_D223. Whether you think he's legit or not, you don't take any risk. I'll take the risk for you and you get value out of the deal. Let's help this guy out and do something good, please
/\ /\ Ill Back this up too.... Anyone that buys a link on SFOD - D223's directory, ill give you a free life time premium listing on InfoYes Some pr4 inner pages, very aged, good traffic. Offer is only good for the next 5 days. PM me your listing confirmation, allow me a few days to get back to you (vacation) urls must be the same. SFOD - D223, why dont you post your paypal email and ill send you some money
Thankk you all for the help, my family and I are greatly appreciative for all the support. My paypal addy is:
sfod you still never answered my question please see above. this is why i have some doubts and ? your situation. if you really are homeless than i apologize,
What he meant by not a legal resident is he is not a legal resident of the State of Florida. I'll help you out mate. As a vet I always help out fellow vets. USS Forrestal (CV59) '81-'84 Gawd I wished the US Navy had a motto like "Semper Fi"
no not that but about the info in his profile that says Biography: Grew up in a small town called New York City Location: THX1138 Quad 4 Interests: Presently trying to make a buck out of 15 cent while studying for nuclear medicine degree Occupation: lol..parking lot attendant
Bad news today, wifey and I were turned down for apartment because of our recent eviction. But on the brighter side of my plight, the VA has given me the opportunity to work in its IT Department of the local VA hospital. This could lead to a permanent position hopefully. The only thing we need to do now is find a place to live... Anyone know of anyone in the Tampa area that can rent a 3 Br apt or house to a family in desperate need? E-mail me at if you have any possible apt or house leads. BTW I'm just starting with the VA and wifey still looking for employment, so we can't afford anyhting too pricey.
Bump, Bump....Yeahhhhh wifey has a job and things looking up. Unfortunately still looking for a place to live.
