I was so touched by this story, that I just really wanted to share it. A man who had been homeless for almost 10 years finds a backpack with $3,300 in cash inside of it. He thinks about what he could buy with the money, and is so tempted, but realizes it just wouldn't be right to keep it. So, he turns it in. What happens after that is amazing. The news finds out, and suddenly the man starts getting job offers by potential employers impressed with his honesty, and individuals start sending him $100 donations, then a TV show presents him with a check for $3,300 (the entire amount he turned in). When presented with the check he's so happy, he looks like he's about to cry with joy. Because of that one act, it looks like his entire life will turnaround for the better. This is a great story, I'm really glad that he's had job offers, donations and that he got that cheque. I hope his life is much nicer from now on Thanks for sharing, Rebecca, you know I always love your posts. (I've been reading them, just not posting as much right now.)
I am impressed and that's not something I say often . I'm glad that the guy got his life changed . I guess this show the power of pure honesty .
Great story and a great reward to the man for his honesty. This is why every parent teach their children to be "honest" in life
What a great story. I sure would like to see Faron Hall recognized as a hero. I know that if he saved my kid I would be forever thankful.
