hello how ru all well i just tried to search my home page name in Google but it never comes click here to see but links from my site are indexed by google only home page is not there that means www.desilime.com why is that ? do i have some problem with robots.txt ?
i have seen and check your domain, can u tell me from how many days u r facing this problem?? i have check it is de indexed, and no back links found.
Okay, I don't think it's a penalty. I can't prove it, but I had a similar problem where all my pages came up except the home page. I noticed that I had a duplicate page from the secure (https) version of the page, and also the /index.htm address. These pages were identical to the home page, but because they had no backlinks, they barely came up in any search. Once I figured it out, I did a 301 redirect, the bad page disappeared on my next Google search, and my home page was back and ranking nicely. Instantly. I guess clicking through the search result updated the change for Google and told it to get the correct page next time. You have a pretty complicated site structure, and I couldn't find the offending URL, but I feel it may be something like this. You have many pages indexed, so I don't think it's a penalty although I could be mistaken.
Last time when o got indexed was 20 Sep 2007 06:33:34 GMT Just wait some time. You can add on your index this: <meta name="robots" content="index,FOLLOW"> <meta name="revisit-after" content="1 Days">
I think you done something naughty? Haven't you... Google detects those doing naughty and de-indexed a site...
