Home page link or inner pages link?

Hi Guys,

I am new in internet marketing. Yesterday I was posting articles on article directories, I just want to know which url is better to put in resource box (www.websiteurl.com or www.websiteurl.com/content_writing.html) if your targeted keyword is Content writing?

I would like to ask what is better, to use homepage url or inner page urls in resource box of article submission?

That depends which page you want to rank for the specific keyword.

 

Homepage URL is better.
Though I'd recommend putting up the anchor text as the keyword that you are targeting.

You mean anchor text should match the keywords in the url we are going to post in resource box?

 

This is an example:

www.YOURDomain.com - Let's you want your top level to rank for "cars". So in the resource box you would use <a href="http://www.YOURDomain.com">Cars</a>

www.YOURDomain.com/fast-cars.html - If you want this page to rank for "fast cars" you would use <a href="http://www.YOURDomain.com/fast-cars.html">Fast Cars</a>

Put home page url in resource box and attach inner page url with important keyword in article body.

 

Some Article Directories provide a resources section for hyperlink. Then you can use both home page url with inner pages. I agree with redgsr to use anchor text.

 

Generally you can put two links to article body or in resource box.

Home page url is better than inner pages urls but if you need to increase traffic to your inner pages then you can put your inner page url with your anchor text, it will be beneficial for your site.

the first page always has more backlinks so it`s wonderful to have a link there,

but most of the time, the first page`s content is not relevant to for your link, so

what you need is a page with relevant content and with some backlinks to it

It depends on which keyword ur using and what service ur giving.
E.g (job in delhi) keywords phrase
page must be relevant delhi job
