Hey!!!!!!!!! Is there an advantage in using a home page (example: some-domain.tld/home.html) and an index page (example: some-domain.tld/index.html). The home page would be where the server directs someone when they are looking for some-domain.tld. The index page would be the page that people click on anywhere else on the site that would be a hyperlink using the keywords "some domain". Thnx in advance.
What's the purpose of each page? Why redirect? If you don't have clear answers to those questions then why do it? I wouldn't do it. People are going to link to your tld, so your index page will get link love, that's not necessarily true of home.htm.
