Home page design of a "Book" Website.

Hello,

One of my client is designing a website for his book. Can you please suggest me some elements that he should include in his HOMEPAGE ?.. I told him to have an introductory paragraph, some reviews, upcoming events etc.
What else could I add ?
It would be really grateful if anyone could provide me a reference site of a "Book".
